Visited Mickie Finnz last weekend with some friends who were visiting from out of town. This wouldn't be my first "go to" spot if ever visiting The Fremont Experience. I'd probably stumble into this spot after visiting Commonwealth or other places down the street first.
Mickie Finnz has that beachy vibe with tiki-ish huts and island like drinks. The night I visited it was Latin Night, which was cool (every Friday from 9p-close) b/c everyone was dancing and all about it! They do offer outdoor seating so that you can people watch while enjoying a drink under the misters. This is nice especially during a hot Las Vegas summer night.
I didn't really like the vibes from the servers and even the bartenders. They were not friendly and they didn't really smile. You can feel the attitude and it just wasn't a good vibe. That's the only downfall, which is a big component as to if I would return to an establishment or not.
Like I said, this wouldn't be my starting point when visiting Fremont St - I just wouldn't waste my time. -

We usually only come here when Roxy Gunn is playing but we popped in after Punk Rock Bowling on a Saturday night to listen to Frank's & Beans. Music + Drinks=FUN
Service is hit and miss but if you don't mind grabbing your own drinks it doesn't matter. The staff we have interacted with have been great.
Not sure about mixed drinks because I stick with Jameson on the rocks.
In the heat of summer it can get horribly hot so make sure to get a water back. -

A friend recommended this place when we told them we were staying downtown on Fremont street. We went to check out based on this recommendation. Honestly I wasn't too impressed. The bartender was kind of short with us and other patrons. Not rude, just...there.We weren't too hungry so we just got an appetizer of coconut shrimp. The shrimp were okay. The sauce that they were served with was the best part. Loved the sauce. The tiniest mojito is $12. Seems a bit steep to me. Between the prices and the food I would say this place was meh.

We were on Fremont Street and decided to stop in.
I remembered passing by this place a few years ago, but didn't have time to stop in. Glad I did this time.
We walked up and were told we could sit wherever we wanted. With the weather being perfect we grabbed a table outside. The menus are already at the table.
We ordered dynamite shrimp tacos, chicken caesar salad, and 2 orders of fish & chips. The food was outstanding. The fish & shrimp were fresh, the salad was huge, and portions were great.
Our waitress Anna was great. She kept up with the drinks and answered any questions we had as we had a vegan/pescaterian in the group.
This place is definitely a spot I'll visit on my next trip to Vegas.
